The Maha Kumbh is held every 12 years at the sacred confluence of the holy Ganges, Yamuna, and mythical Saraswati in Prayagraj, India. It marks the completion of a cycle of the planet Jupiter and its entry into the Aries constellation and the Sun and Moon in the Capricorn constellation. This auspicious celestial alignment underscores its profound astrological, puranic, and social significance. It is the world’s largest gathering, embodying India’s rich heritage.
