UP Minister Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’ Inaugurates Centre Of Excellence At UCER UGI

Investment Promotion in Government of Uttar Pradesh Nand Gopal Gupta ‘Nandi’
inaugurated Centre of Excellence (CoE) at United College of Engineering and
Research (UCER), Naini, on Monday. The Centre was inaugurated in association
with Noida-based India’s biggest e-mobility, research and development and skill
based education platform ISIEINDIA Private Limited.
The objective is to promote development of electric
vehicles, research and skill development programs for engineering students
under the Atmanirbhar Bharat Abhiyaan of Government of India (GoI).
The UP Minister inaugurated the CoE as the chief guest by
cutting the ribbon in the presence of President of United Group of Institution
(UGI) Dr Jagdish Gulati, Vice Chairman
Satpal Gulati and Vice President Gaurav
Gulati.
Founder and Chief Executive Officer (COE), ISIEINDIA Private
Limited Vinod Gupta and director, Alliance Partnership and CSR ISIEINDIA
Shubhankaar Chakraborty were also present on the occasion.
The chief guest also addressed
engineering students at UCER auditorium after the lamp
lighting ceremony.
He said that the initiative will help youths of
Prayagraj and Poorvanchal region in
developing and sharpening their technical skills thus generating employment
opportunities for themselves.
He said that developing e-vehicles have become the need of
the hour as they will not only reduce the consumption of fuel phenomenally but
also save environment.
The UP minister also gave some mantras of success to young
minds. He appealed them not to go for short cut methods and to accept problem
as challenge to succeed in life.
He also appreciated the UGI management for imparting quality
education to students.
Dean, Corporate and Industry Relations, UGI Dr Divya
Bartaria presented the aims and objectives of the CoE. She said that the
primary aim of establishing theCoE is to develop industry ready workforce by
providing a high-quality technical training to engineering graduates.
The UGI President and Vice Chairman welcomed and honoured
the chief guest by presenting him bouquet, memento and a shawl.
All the Principals, Deans, HoDs and faculty members were
present on the occasion.
